- Punishment and Reward - heavely smut one-shot fanfic, yet one of the best things I’ve read about Liu Kang and Kitana so far, it was refreshing, hot and sexy. If you wanted the most nsfw LiuTana fanfic ever, then this is for you.
- Kiss Goodbye - one-shot that takes place after MK3, when Kitana have to leave EarthRealm to restore Edenia that was finally freed from Outworld. But before leaving, she and Liu Kang has something to say to each other.
- Mortal Kombat: Reflections - 2 chapters that talk about how Liu Kang and Kitana’s, Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade’s relationship were going through after MK Deception, before Armageddon events. Short, but a very enjoyable story that stays true to the characters.
- Of Duty and Family - this is a very good and sweet one-shot. Tells about what if Liu Kang did became king of Edenia and Kitana’s husband and how his duties as king of Edenia and champion of EarthRealm would affect his personal life. Liu Kang and Kitana have a fight, but the resolution is very heartwarming.
- It Was Inevitable - one-shot that tells about how Liu Kang reacts when his daughter is no longer a little girl that he always loved to take care of and has to give her some personal space at last. Sweet and heartwarming.
- Friendly Advice - funny one-shot story, where Johnny Cage asks Liu Kang for advice how keep the spark in bed going after child’s birth, which was an issue for Cage with Sonya Blade. While giving an advice, Liu Kang remembers too much to handle and decides to bring his advices into action again.
The list that is going to be below consists of long fanfics that include several chapters and I myself still didn’t read them, but since their writer is the one who wrote majority of those one-shots, I have a feeling they all are worthy of attention sooner or later:
